Grammar -plurals
« on: April 12, 2011, 06:42:03 PM »
Hi all,

I tried searching for where this PPT might find a similar thread but I couldn't find one. Maybe the moderators would be able to help.

Anyways, I just created a PPT for my lower level class. They're just starting plurals. This is a bomb game to help review the rules and examples for different plural words (ex: bus, and city).

The answers aren't on the bomb game. For this game I have the team come write on the plural form of the word on the board (my students LOVE writing on the board). After they finish I let the other teams guess whether or not they think the word is spelt correctly. If not they have the opportunity to come and fix it.

I use this PPT I found on the web somewhere it works well and easy to dumb down if you need to but I find most kids are pretty good at plural nouns.

I think this is gonna be very useful at my class. Plurals are always difficult for the students to understand. Sometimes the kids pay too little effort at the ending "s" sounds
