References: Emotions, Why is she happy? Why is he sad? Because.....

I have made a Mario bomb game. Haven't ran it yet, put it together tonight. I have made a more generic introduction as well as a short intro for Mario covering the more advanced vocabulary. It focuses on talking about other people and things rather than yourself.

Key Expressions Review with Guessing Game
Students should read the key expressions together and play a guessing game.

SNAP! Game
Using the cards from the textbook, students will play in groups. Students will separate the feelings cards and the because cards. The first student will pic up a feeling and and say the expression "why are you ---" and the next student will pick up a because card. If the cards match, the other students listening yell "SNAP!" and the first student who says snap keeps the cards. If the cards don't match, students put the cards back in the pile. The student with the most cards is the winner.

Don't worry, be happy song.

Here are the lyrics to the edited version of Seoul Happy.

I'll have the kids first watch and listen. Then we'll count how many times they hear 'happy' and 'because'.

Then, I'll give them the lyrics and practice singing along.
