2015 Grade 5 Cheonjae 1 - 2. What's Your Favourite Class?
« on: April 07, 2015, 07:50:40 AM »
I know it's a bit late to be getting this stuff up. Most teachers are probably finished with this chapter, but maybe it will help someone next time.

Attached is a ppt for the "Let's Read!" section, with words being removed each time so that students have to remember what was in the blanks.

There is also an EBS video that uses "I have _class_ on _day_." and "I like/don't like _class_." and a ppt with a few questions about it. A little disappointed that it didn't include "my favorite" at all, but the other book work we are reviewing during this period has it, and I tried to slip it into the questions a couple of times.

My games/activities for this lesson. A Body Spelling game,  Jeopardy style game, Four Corners (students go to the corner that best fits them), and  Noonchi game.

Here is a board game that I made that is similar to the one from the book but with more expressions.

2 Motivation activities

1.) Hidden Pictures
2.) Grab Game - students play in groups. The cards are spread out, face up. T calls out the words (one at a time) students grab the name they hear. The student with the most cards, is the winner.

1. [Partially] Hidden Picture game

Each slide has a partially hidden picture (funny gifs to make it more fun). Students try to guess what it is.

2. Key expressions review (with funny gifs)  :P
