Spy Game
1. Each student gets a picture card with a key sentence. Students may not show their cards to other students.
2. Two or three students receive a spy card; nobody knows who the spies are.
3. There are four identical cards for each key sentence, so students should try to find the other students who have matching cards to form a group of four.
4. Students ask the following questions to find their team mates: What will you do this weekend? The other student reads his/her card to answer the question.
5. The spies can say any key sentence to join a team and keep their identity a secret.
6. When four students have found their teammates, they show their cards to T.
7. If all of the cards match, they are winners. However, if there is a spy in the group, the spy is the winner and the other students lose the game.
Telepathy is a writing game. Ss choose word/sentence per slide, to write down in their notebooks. They count their points at the end. The one with the most is the winner.
4 Corners
Allocate 4 corners in the classroom. Each corner represents a number on PPT with a matching key sentence. As you count down from 10 to 1, Ss choose a corner. Then you say: "Stop" after reaching 1. Each corner's students gets a turn to say the key sentence. Then you drop the bombs. If a bomb lands on their corner, they are out and must sit down. The last one is the winner. After one student wins, everyone can stand up again.
These are for you Michael :)
