Here's a worksheet I edited to go along with Lesson 4 'May I take your picture?'

It's got Vocab, Fill-in, Find the mistakes and a Bingo section.

Thanks to the original creator. Hope this helps someone!

The forehead sentence game was a big hit with my students last year - looking forward to playing it with them again this year!

-Cheers-

Here's a Go Fish game PPT explanation using the "Listen & Play" cards from the book.
I used someone else's template (not sure who, thank you whoever you are!) and heavily edited and modified it to make it look a little cleaner and to use the cards that are in this book.

Also attached is a short review PPT that I used at the beginning of the 2nd period. Simple and clean.

Happy teaching!

Here is another song I wrote, this time for chapter 4. Based on vocabulary and phrases of the lesson.

And for those who play guitar (or ukulele/piano/keyboard if you got one in your classroom), I put the chord progression in several keys.

I also made a background video to show the words on the screen associated with pictures so they stick with the kids. I might upload the music to go with it later, but for now, it just helps to play the song with guitar or piano and voice.

The title screen actually is a beat count too. If you look at it, you'll get the beat for the song. If you have Daum's video player "Potplayer", you can slow it down (press X) or speed it up (press C).

EDIT: Added guitar to video in Key of A.

Intro Worksheet with Look and Listen, key phrases, vocab, and a word search

I've added the word take (찍다) to the vocab list.

Good stuff, thanks everyone! Here's a quick reading/speaking game for pairs. Players start on opposite ends and take turns. P1 asks "May I..." then players do rock scissors paper. If P2 wins, he says "No, you may not" and P1 doesn't move. If P1 wins, then P2 says "Yes, you may" and P1 can move one space. First player to make it to the other side (or farthest) wins.

My PPT:  All new words first, then key expressions with drills/practice.

LOTS of fun gifs to keep the students focused and entertained.

Had to split my ppt into an A and B sections becuase too big for waygook.  Splice back together after download.

I, personally, found the phrase "may I eat the cookie" very awkward, though technically not wrong, so I added "now",  Which I believe makes more sense or at least would be used more often.  I also added "May I have a cookie" which I think is the actual phrase that would be appropriate in the context given in the book.  Feel free to change as your heart desires.

Also edited/fixed socialchillin's doreamon bomb game.  There are/were several links to blank slides.  I added in questions and content from my PPt to make it complete.  Thanks socialchillin for your work in creating most of this game.

I also turned another posters intro ppt into a pass the ball warm up activity.

I really dislike what the book has done with the Giving Tree, so I've put together two books for this lesson (Mr. Gumpy was my co's suggestion, I think the students would enjoy the Pigeon more). Slightly adapted for grade fives.
