Here's a group card game that I thought up, that I used for the 2nd period.

The rules should be pretty clear from the PPT explanation, but basically the students just take turns asking "What will you do this summer?" and then one student guesses what the next card in the middle stack of cards will be, using "I'll ________". If they get lucky and they guess correctly, they keep the card for 1 point, and I had them go again, saying "I'll ________" once more.

Period 3 PPT and Game

Review PPT with Ask & Answer

Reading Game:
-Split the class into teams and split the blackboard into sections for each team
-In the sections, write the team name and #s 1-6.

-Students from each group come to the front and roll a big dice
-The whole group reads the matching sentence together.
-Then, the teacher erases that number

-The first team with all #s 1-6 erased is the winner.

Blazing pens
Period 1 PPT to go along with the telepathy game in the textbook.
Reading game (soccer style). Students start on the middle of the "field" and go opposite ways (place the two papers together to make a full field). They play rock paper scissors and the winner can move one yard closer to the goal after they say the correct phrase for that spot.

This is great. Thanks Mike! I added a slide at the end and edited it only slightly because the boy asked "How about you?" and it needed an answer.
