Good summary of the musical condensed into 12 minutes. You should still pre-teach some difficult vocabulary like 'convict', 'prison', 'bishop', etc. and be sure to frequently pause the video to ask what happened.

Lesson PPT for period 1 of Story time 2-Les Miserables. First there are a few slides introducing the story and the characters (in the textbook version of the story). Then I made a disappearing dialogue exercise for some extra practice. Although the dialogue is in the book, some of my students will find this story a bit difficult, so I wanted to provide extra practice.

I am also showing the video that was posted by yfb above. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for your materials, yfb and xmoonchildx!

To follow the period 2 video "World Tour", I have some foods from around the world, followed by a bomb game quiz about it.  I took most of the pictures myself, and there are a few pictures of me scattered around.  Remove them if you wish, but I would ask you to keep the one in Nepal. REMOVED

Edit:  I have re-uploaded the quiz game file--the one that ends with Q--and hopefully any linking problems have been fixed.  REMOVED.

Didn't know where to put this so I'll put it here. I did a mini review game to kill the rest of this lesson: Minions bomb game attached with vocab from previous lessons. Also a 'matching game' I edited with vocab if you need more timekillers.

EDIT: Minions game had to get hosted externally due to file size limits.

See next post as it'll take my a while to upload.

Here is a Les Miserables quiz game which is all about prepositions, based mainly on the textbook "story" or the "Look Down" song sung by Gavroche.  I also made subtitles for the video but waygook.org doesn't allow .srt files.  REMOVED

Made a sentence maze with instructions and answers. Edited the Les Miserables story slightly to fit the parameters of the maze. Comprehension questions at the bottom of the worksheet for the students to answer.

I HAVE DELETED THIS LESSON AS IT IS BEING MONIIZED AGAINST THE CONTENT CREATOR'S WISHES.

I very much welcome an open source system and am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the sites decision to charge for content. I uploaded content with the understanding that it would be used freely by other teachers and do not agree with it being monetized without my consent. Due to this change I have felt it best to remove my work.

Thank you for all those who have shared in the past and I hope the site will retract its new policy and return to an open community-led system.
