Anyways, here's a ppt, simple roleplay, and target game that'll hopefully get the students using the target language.

I probably should've mentioned this awhile back but my co-teacher is always "busy" and whenever I ask her to translate some slides on my PPTs she tries to rush through them as quickly as she can. This often leads to errors in the Korean translation which I don't find out about until we're in class & the students get confused, really annoying. So yeah, be sure to get your co-t to double check the translation on these slides before using them in class, sorry to anyone who's ever lost face in front of their students due to the shoddy Korean translation on my PPTs

As always, if/when I make more ppt's I'll edit this post & attach them here. Happy teaching!

Intro: Pretty self explanatory. (Ideal for the first period)

Slap game: Divide the class into two teams, 2 students come up to the front and have their back facing the TV screen (and me) with fly swatters. I make a funny face to which the rest of the class will ask the question "Why are you so ____?" I then reply with "Because ____." Both students then turn around & the first person to slap the correct picture on the TV using the fly swatter gets a point for their team. (Ideal for the first period or second period)

Period 2 & 3 Intro: Added some extra slides to review the key expressions. There's also some hidden slides to introduce the new expression "Where did you go? / When did you go there? / Where did you get it?" for Period 3 as I plan to use the same intro for that period too. (Ideal for the second & third period)

Bomb game: Basic grid based sentence making game. Students ask "Why are you so ____?" And respond "Because ____." (Ideal for the second period)

Pass the Pencil Case game: Instructions included in the PPT. (Ideal for the third period)

Baskin Robbins 31 game: Students play in pairs, taking turns reading either 1, 2 or 3 boxes. Whoever reads box 31 is the loser. (Ideal for the fourth period)

Fun telepathy writing game with a twist!

-students choose one block and write that word/sentence.
- there are different pumpkin points/a blank behind all of the boxes so each answer=points.

Thanks for Kwai_Chang_Kain, I've updated his ppt for this lesson and revised it to for 3 periods with different expression points in lesson suited for my classes. Hope it can help others as well.

I am out of ideas for 6th grade and this lesson, so I went to an old book and found this Angry Birds bomb type game. I changed many of the slides to fit this book, but I did keep some of the original slides to mix it up a bit.

I have checked the game a few times to fix mistakes, but I welcome a new set of eyes because mine are tired! The only thing I can think of is when the slides come up of the two girls you have to click again to get the second girl's answer so the students can understand what they are supposed to say (you will understand when you see it).

Finally, a big THANK YOU to whomever created this game, to the person who posted it in the old book AND to the lovely people who made PPTs for this lesson because I borrowed your clip art for this game! Thank you so much for always having awesome PPTs! I hope you can use this as well!

EDIT: I should mention I am playing this with period 3, so anything beyond that isn't in here.

For the 2nd period we used Pixars The Blue Umbrella as motivation.

We watched the video, identified the various emotions, and discussed why the characters felt this way.

I was going through old lessons again. I found this and I am using it for period 4 (reading).

I went through it and changed it a bit to match the vobulary from this book, but I did keep some of the original.

I will attach the original, the changed and a picture one I found.
