Period 1:
- Let's Guess, learning new phrases and their meanings
- Look and Listen and comprehension exercises
- Telephone game. Instead of grabbing the card (because it always ends up with crumpled/ripped cards and sometimes with hurt hands/fingers), students either point (NOT hit) to the picture on the screen or write the number on a whiteboard.

Period 2:
- Practice the key phrases again along with the new reasons for declining the invite.
- Listen and Say and comprehension
- Telephone game, since we didn't have time to play it (they had a couple of tests to take before the last class)

Other games you could play: Find the party! Each student gets a card and then they must go around the room and find all the other students will their type of party by inviting them to their party. Once a group of 6 (or whatever) has formed, they go to the teacher and invite them as well. First group gets a prize (or whatever you use). I almost played this, but my coteacher really likes this game, so they had already played it a lot... ㅋㅋㅋ

This is a vocabulary spelling game that I used in my "Look and Listen" class (2nd period for me).

I've divided my class depending on the seating arrangement (I had six colomns, 4 rows of students).
The game looks like this: 6 teams, 6 spots on the whiteboard. 1 student at a time. First student  sees the picture on the ppt and runs to the board to write the word. Second person does it for the 2nd picture etc. The team that finishes fastest wins.
I've made 7 rounds. They loved it!

Here is a Treasure Hunt game. I got it off a thread from the 5th grade book and modified it for this lesson. The answer is CANDY. the number and the letters for the final answer dont match so the students have to unscramble the final answer.

The students have to complete the 1st mission. When they hand you the paper you give them mission 2 and the first treasure card and so on and so on until they have collected all 5 treasure cards and completed all 5 missions. *If you want to take up more time be nit-pickey with the answers grammatically wise. When they forgot to capitolize a letter or forgot the "?" or "." then I sent them back to their group to find the problem*

I made the group members take turns writing and delivering the mission papers so that everyone got a chance to write. My students really enjoyed this came and when it came to the finish they were frantically trying to be first. very cute lol
