Sonic the Hedgehog Review Game

All the credit for design, and everything technical goes to powelldr and his team. I just filled in the review info.

Some things to note:

I did not particularly like the power ups and the in game scoring system. It became a little too confusing for 3rd graders, especially since my kids knew every answer, so it defeated the purpose.

I would propose making the power ups just worth 5 rings if you want to forgo said complication, and then you can keep a manual scoreboard (since the game also crashed on me once, this was a preferred method.)

Also, the boss battle is worth zero rings, so you may choose to let the teams roll the dice twice to get extra rings.

Other than that, this design is absolutely beautiful.

Many Blessings in your Teaching Adventures.

Review quiz for Lessons 1-6

An Angry Birds Space/StarWars game, with original animation template slides created by Cowboy07.
Please read the slide notes, especially on the control slides:
(scoreboard and question selector).

Questions are a collection of my own and others posted in other games, thanks to those who contributed and shared their work.

Only click to show the answer and to start the animation, or to select a prize.
If a mystery egg is clicked, animation sequences start automatically - if you click, it will jump to the end (the reward section).

***Note: It works perfectly on Office 2007; 2010 may create consistency errors: reset the control slides, and/or change fonts.

Thanks so much for using my game! I spent such a long time on it (just by myself), I'm so glad someone else actually used it and posted it to share!
If you'd prefer not to use the power-ups I included in the game, you can change the prize for each question slide by changing it's layout. I agree, some of the power-ups aren't too useful for the easier third grade questions. That way you can use only the ones you want. Also, if you'd prefer not to use the boss battle, you can choose to play the "Normal" version of the game.

The idea of the other version of the game was to reset the score for each round, with the team with the most points winning that round. By resetting the score, one team couldn't dominate the whole game. The boss battle was a way for the teams with less points to get an extra point and potentially beat the top team. I created this specifically because I had some classes where most of the high level students were concentrated into one or two groups and it really discouraged the other students.

The Sonic game brings back a lot of memories, cool to stoke the 90s nostalgia in me.
It looks like a lot of hard work went into it and collecting all the graphics and animating them were a headache at times.

I personally like all the options that are possible with the layout and the multiple team point counters, but I can see how they make someone not too savvy with ppt have a little trouble navigating the smaller icons. The music though brings back memories it may be a bit distracting during the letter select screen.

Awesome game and effort for sure!
