Drama/acting games needed
« on: September 19, 2016, 02:34:57 PM »
So my coteacher decided that from now on 5th grade games should all be drama related and I've got no idea what to do. There's charades but I can't do that every day. I personally don't care for drama so most of the games i've found I think are either boring or are too hard to explain to the kids. Does anyone have any drama/acting games that they use other than charades?

You could take a look here: http://www.bbbpress.com/dramagames/

Dunno what to recommend specifically as I don't know what your class personalities are like, but I think that if you're not into drama yourself, it'll probably be harder to get the kiddos interested.

Or if your coteacher doesn't pay too much attention, maybe you could just "dramatize" games by assigning character names to students or pretending there's a story involved (and then going light on the story and heavy on the game). If she/he's super picky then maybe she/he should find some drama games her/himself.
