Pass the chicken Template
« Reply #40 on: March 02, 2011, 01:04:32 pm »
Here's my version of the fantastic idea I found posted by someone else on Waygook ^_^
There are 2 slightly different versions of the song.
I hope they are both in perfect working order :)

This is great. Mostly because I know the older kids are going to go "Teacher! Music NO!"  :P The younger kids will get a kick out of it. Thanks.

This is great! Is the chicken supposed to be dancing in the animation on the second ppt? It doesn't move when I open it. Any ideas on how to fix?

yay!
@ Cassie
both PPTs: all chickens are supposed to be dancing! It's an animated gif, and is supposed to work automatically when in slideshow mode (F5) I'm using MS Office 2007, and all seems to be good! hope it works out for you :)

Hey guys please help :(

I added my questions to the bomb game but it isn't working. I typed out new text for each slide and moved it to the back. But when I try to play the game my questions don't show.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong??

Try looking at the setup of the custom animations - my guess is that it is not set to have the questions apear.

terrateacher thanks for the advice. ^^ Unfortunately I'm not very good with Powerpoint especially cuz my work computer is all in Korean. :( I have no idea how to find the setup of custom animations. I was hoping the Girls Generation Bomb Game template would be easier to use....

Attached a working version with question boxes and answer boxes. The questions are pretty specific to my lesson and the textbox used isn't suited to the layout (I copied it from the Mario game). It works though. All textboxes have been moved to the back layer.

Very nice job Rufus and Sally!

I want the music to play with the appropriate picture and I'm no K-pop expert, so correct me if I'm wrong:

Slides 7, 11 & 23 = Miss A
Slides 4, 10, 14, 17, 19, & 21 = BEAST
Slides 5, 6, 8 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20 & 22 = Girl's Generation

The songs that were provided are:
Girl's Generation- Oh!
6dfbfa9f16f5672c59b 366ff484b8494 - not sure who or what
BEAST- Shock
CN Blue- I'm a loner
Girl's Generation- My Life
Miss A - Bad Girl, Good Girl

eirrehs which version of PPT are you using?  I have a Korean version but, 2003.  If your using the same version it's the 7th drop down menu in the tool bar the one that has (D) in it.  Then choose the option that has (M) on my version it has a little picture a arrow, bell, and clock I think.  When you click on it it should bring up a new menu on the right hand side of your computer - that shows the animation.

If there is no number by the box with the answers you added you'll have to add it (click on the  icon with the star) if it does have a number it indicates in what order the animations are so you may have to move it in the list.

Hope that helps - I'm no computer expert but, hopefully it makes sense-ish.

terrateacher ur so awesome!!! if ur in busan ill take u out for dinner!!! if ur not and u visit here i'll take u out for dinner!! :)

im using 2007 powerpoint but i still found the animation section and changed the order with ur help!! it works!!!

i do however have a new problem. the points image automatically shows up after the question. i prefer to click to see it. that way if the students can't answer the question i can go back and another student can have a chance later.

would you happen to be able to explain how to do that as well?? :-[

Awesome I'm glad it helped.

Probably one of 2 things.
Option 1- the point image has the same number as the box with the questions in it in the custom animation list.  If this is the case click on the icon with the star (it means something like new animation) when you are highlighting the points box and make sure it shows up in the list after the animation for answers has come up.  You should be able to just drag the items in the list around to get it in the order you want.

Option 2 - the points is set to come up based on time rather than clicking (it will probably have picture of a clock next to it if this is the case).  If this is the case highlight the points image in the list of animations and there should be a couple of drop down boxes - look for the drop down list that has a picture of a clock and a picture of a mouse (computer not animal) and change it to the mouse.

Hope this post is as helpful :)

This is a short nine question game I made in order to quickly check if my students have effectively absorbed new concepts and ideas. It is quick and can be reused for a second or third round if necessary. Please let me know if you find any mistakes or just simply want to leave a comment.

Cheers,

Help needed - Megaman bomb game!!!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the little jingle sound from this PPT.

Can someone help me out? I guess this can also serve as a preview of my Megaman/Rockman bomb game I've been working on.

And yes, I pretty much just edited the sh*t out of the Girl's Generation template.

Looks great, here you go!

The sound was set as a slide transition sound FYI.
