Golden Bell Prizes?
« on: October 25, 2016, 05:58:11 PM »
So we're doing a Golden Bell competition at my school, and we have to come up with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. We're doing it for 3rd-6th grade, so each grade will need three prizes.

What do you recommend? I've tried searching for ideas, but most people said gift cards. We asked and we're not allowed to give them anything that's like money, so cards and gift certificates are out.

We have a budget of 10,000 won for 1st place, 5,000 for 2nd, and 3,000 for 3rd.

Any ideas would be much appreciated!

I'd play it safe with a box of Binches or Chocopies!

Mine were going to get Korean books as prizes but I managed to "Why?" out of that one and we got English books instead.

1st place: Where's Wally (books on sale)
2nd place: Jenga
3rd place: a pencil case stuffed with stationery.

You could also get English DVDs on sale that come to about $10,000. Piggy banks, fun socks, fun pens like syringes, paint tubes, or microphones, or even unusual erasers.

If you do get them a pencil case, you'll have to put something inside it otherwise their hearts break because it's a little like getting an empty box for Christmas.
