This is a tricky one, as some people still refer to the ancient wonders of the world. Then there's some that only talk about the 7 modern  wonders. hmm. Which would be more correct in teaching students? If it was me, I would distinguish between the two.

I had a high level speech class once and one of the topics I used was "wonders of the world". They had to research and write a speech on what they thought was a wonder of the world. Why they thought it was a wonder, the background, geography and history etc,  For large classes they could do a group presentation.

I can't download yet, because I don't have enough posts, so I'm not sure what's in this. But if it isn't already included, it might be interesting to mix it with the new 7 wonders of nature campaign that's going on right now--Jeju island is on the list, and people can vote online. There's been tons of publicity about it here in Jeju, and Koreans seem really proud. It might be fun to have students defend it!
