The kids love the whole Mr Bean thing, as we all know. This lesson worked quite well. I used guess the picture behind the blocks as a filler at the end. Make sure to do it in slideshow view, otherwise the remove button does nothing.

Thanks for this! My textbook had a lesson on giving steps for cooking and drawing. This worked really well. I just had the kids change the verb tense to imperative to give instructions to make a sandwich Mr. Bean style. We played 20 questions at the end with the hidden pictures.  ;D

great idea. I change a few of the blury pics and added a few extra slides. I also got the kids to create their own sandwich, which you can see on the last slide. hope this helps.

Mr. Bean fan here. This will be awesome for my afterschool class, thank you OP!

I do wonder how others do the hidden picture game. My idea is to just let students take turns rolling a die to see how many squares are removed. Then they get the first chance to guess. If they are wrong, it is open to anyone else in the class.

Other ideas?

Still trying to figure out how to do this lesson.    I guess I'm going to try and put the students in groups of 4 teams and give points and candy for answers...?     anyways thanks a ton for downloading this lesson.    Very helpful

I like this lesson. I have 2 lessons today where they are ahead of the rest of the school in terms of lessons completed so this is a nice one off filler with a bit of fun. kids love mr bean

I'm going to do this class next week. I changed it slightly though. I removed to picture of the reference to dog meet in the korean sandwich because I didnt think it was cool

Excellent. Just decided to throw out the lesson I have planned for this afternoon's class, and do this instead.

Hi I was going to do a very boring lesson about " How to ...." then saw this lesson and I decided to keep my PPT however just changed the activities and showed the episode of Mr. Bean and it made one of the worse lessons to teach ...one of a more pleasant nature. Thanks

This lesson was a hit. I finished it off by playing a Mr. Bean bomb game based on the video clip. The students really enjoyed it.

Will also be doing this lesson next with my middle school 1st graders. But I also took out the dog meat reference and swapped in some better quality images.

this lesson is a hit.  i had the students make peanut butter and jam sandwiches after, it set me back 20,000 won but it was worth it. First time all of my students ever had a pb and j, and they loved them.  Some of my co-teachers also enjoyed pb and j, good way to earn some points.

Hey Everyone

I made a lesson plan based on the same Video Clip and it also worked great. Use it, combine it with Dyl class above... whatever. Just enjoy.

The class went as follows.
1) The worksheet. Hand out the worksheet and let the students link the vocab with the pictures. Between you and your CT you can help them...
2) Then I did the Class presentation PPT . here they actually practiced 2 sentences. If you want you can take the sentences out and keep the pictures. Let the students turn their worksheets over and do a review of the vocab. All of the vocab appears in the video
3) Play the video clip. i usually play it once and for the students to enjoy and then a second time. During the second i pause the clip every few seconds and ask the students what happened. (if you do this 45min is a bit short)
4) the PPT game (there are 3 slides that is actually based on a another mr.bean video but i left them in as bonus questions. the students do not have to see that clip to answer the questions in the slide.)

May students loved it and was very active...
