Hello everyone,

My fiance and I are seeking positions teaching English at a Hagwon or Hagwons, beginning in August 2017.  We are very interested in Busan, but would be happy in any similar small-to-mid-sized city, such as Mokpo, Daegu, Daejeon, or Ulsan.  We share a passion for lifelong learning and the English language, and we are excited to experience different cultures and ways of life.

For the last four years, I've taught English composition, rhetoric, and literature at the University of Wisconsin, and at Columbia College Chicago for two years before that.  I'm looking forward to expanding my career in a wholly different culture and sharing my native language with Koreans of all ages who are eager to learn.  I hold a Master's degree in Creative Writing from Columbia College Chicago.  My fiance is beginning her career in education and literacy and is excited to gain this invaluable experience before she pursues her degree in Library Sciences.  We have recently received our 200-hour TEFL certifications from the International TEFL Academy in Chicago, IL, USA.
