Quizzes have always gone done well with my students as an after-exam class. In particular the pop music section is always a hit and it gives a chance for teams with weaker English to get back into the game.

The problem is I don't know anything about pop music. Can anyone recommend me about 8 recent songs (Western and Korean) to put into the quiz?

I'll be sharing the quiz here when I'm done.

I generally do chart searches and then look for videos, look at lyrics.

For kpop, literally any BTS song (Fire or Not Today are really popular now), or Don't wanna cry by Seventeen. That and TT or Signal by Twice. You could use the new G Dragon song too. I think it's called 'untitled.'

As for pop songs, my kids really like Shape of You by Ed Sheeran and Uptown Funk by Bruno Mars. And also Love Yourself by Justin Bieber.

Somebody recently made a Kpop Apop game - you can get some ideas from here:
