Other travel guitars sacrifice sound for size- sound too quiet and tinny and are hard to play...and still can't be taken as a carry on bag due to their length.

This guitar corrects that. No bag to check in, be potentially damaged, lost, etc. Just keep it with you. No need to pay an extra bag check in fee, wait for luggage at the turnstile, etc.

Could use it as the sole trip bag. Like a backpack. Stuff clothes inside the sound hole. Put laptop, etc. in the other pockets. Maybe take on a hike then play at the top of a mountain? Would make for a interesting background scenery for a song video.

Has an internal pickup. Sound is good enough to plug in to use live.

Agreed, for $200 you could buy a pretty damn indestructible guitar case... Besides, with real buskers being the exception, sitting on the beach/mountain/university strumming the only 4 chords you know is just about the douchiest thing to do.
