I've always thought that it would be good for everyone if there were a thread where we all post our open class plans, since it's such a stressful part of this job.  Maybe there is one and I just haven't seen it.  Anyway, here are my plans and materials that I used last week and that went over well with the moms.

The 1st grade class covers simple prepostions - in, on, under.  I actually bought some cheap little daiso toys for the students to use as props during the lesson then let them keep them after the class.  I made the dice to correspond with the different toys, so you may need to change the pictures on them if you bring different items.

For the 3rd grade level, just print and laminate the pictures for the different countries and use either velcro or magnets depending on what kind of whiteboard you have.

The 5th grade class plan is easy and the kids had a lot of fun with it.

Some of the pics and the madlibs ppt i used I found on waygook some time ago, so thanks to whoever originally made these.

I've never added anything to the site and am moving home soon, so I hope this is useful for some of you.

In my case, yes.  I guess it depends on your job and if you want to make an effort or not.

curious. i thought the whole point of the whole process is to show parents/employer/etc an insight of what typically happens in your class
