I plan on using this for class this week...pretty self explanatory lesson teaching adverbs of frequency using Ripley's. I also made a Typhoon game. Haven't used it yet so let me know how it goes! Borrowed from some other PPTs so thanks to those creators!

We always eat rice. But how often do you see pictures in a rice field? --- has the same link to the video of the veggie band. :(

I noticed a small mistake.

Everyday

Everyday is an adjective that means commonplace, ordinary, or normal.

These shoes are great for everyday wear
You shouldn't wear an everyday outfit to the wedding
Don't use the everyday dishes - it's a special occasion

Every day

Every day means "each day."

I go to the park every day
I have to work every day this week except Friday
Every day I feel a little better

Thanks so much! I really like this lesson! Lots of fun videos/pics to keep their attention. I might try it out as an after school lesson later this week.

I made a handout for the personality test portion just so you don't have to keep flipping back and forth between slides - and then the students also have all the terms and sentences right there in front of them. It's nothing fancy, but it will get the job done.

The second PPT I posted should have the videos embedded. After the teaching the lesson, I found it too long so here is a modified PPT that also has other improvements.

Awesome lesson and game, is there a key to the correct answers for the game? I found myself looking at some of the pictures/facts and not knowing which was the correct answer!

Thanks for the great ppt! I downloaded the bigger file ppt and I still can't see the embedded videos. It only shows a white rectangle with an x going through it on my OpenOffice.org program. Unfortunately, I don't MS programs on my comuter. If possible could you please post the links to your videos or the videos themselves?

This is great - i have a page in my textbook i have to cover about unbelievable things, and the level is so low that they struggle with too many details.

I used this lesson to review comparatives and then practice superlatives using Ripley's...the kids were horrified at the video! "SO DISGUSTING!" But the game was really fun for them and I think it went well. Go wild!

Great! Thanks for this! I always enjoy interesting facts and trivia. The students really get into it too sometimes. I find that researching the interesting and strange facts can be time consuming sometimes though. At times I find myself going from website to website just reading the amazing and strange facts when I should be making the lesson.
