Because this chapter is all over the place, I decided to focus on frequency adverbs for the first lesson.

The listening section is from page 30 in the book. It was basically the only useful listening section of the book. You'll have to figure out how to block the projector so the SS can't see the answer right in front of them.

Also, I took the easy way out and just made a bomb game checking vocab, translating Korean to English, making English sentences about themselves etc. (You'll definitely need to do something like a bomb game because this PPT and worksheet are a little short.)

Aaaaaand here's my next PPT for lesson 2.

It reviews times, and introduces the language:
"When do you ~?"
"I (verb) at (time)"
I eat breakfast at six-thirty.

I only used one listening exercise from the CD.

At the end, I'll play a zombie handshake game I found in another thread. The guy said that the kids loved it, so we'll see. There's some mildly disturbing images in the zombie PPT tbh. Up to you to skip that or not.

Hope this helps someone out there even a little bit

Updated Emcee's great lesson for part 1. Worksheet now has a section for quizzing their partners, then a 4 person production game.

Removed. Check out K_orshare.

Hi...this is my effort for the first lesson of unit 2 focusing on daily routines. The ppt leads on from last week - adverbs of frequency and I made it comfortably last around 20-25mins. I did the 'find someone who' activity for about 10 mins then checked as a class for 5 or 10 mins as a wrap up. Worked quite well.

Here's a lesson focusing on the Healthy Habits section on page 31.

It also includes a review section at the beginning that covers routines, and frequency adverbs.

The healthy habits thing is just straight from the book, but I figured I'd put this here just to help out a little bit.

At the end is a 20 Questions game that my co-teacher wanted me to do. If you want to use it too, just cut out a bunch of small pieces of paper for the students. Demo with your word first, giving the students suitable questions to ask. Then
hand out the paper and make them write down a thing and their name. Then choose a suitable one, call the student's name, and help the class guess the students word.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the PPT!

Dragging these units out or what...I decided to do an imperatives lesson based on p29. There's a short review of the daily routine sentences then we're talking about what imperatives are and when we use them. There are 2 practice activities for the students where they order instructions and match signs to meanings ~~

*Edit* The ordering instructions section can be a bit tedious with lower levels so instead, if there was any extra time I got them to create their own warning sign on the back of the worksheet. I also reduced it from 10 things at the beginning.
