For the first lesson, I remade a powerpoint on here from an older book.
We are focusing on "What are you interested in?". The chapter focuses on jobs, but I expanded it to other interests.
For activities, we will do listening in the textbook. Then I'll have them go around the room and find 5 unique interests from their friends using "what are you interested in?". I'll give a piece of candy to the first 10 students. The last activity is a team game. They need to brainstorm as many interests as they can for each category in 1 minute. They get 1 point for having 4 interests and 1 point for unique interests.
Each student needs a blank sheet of paper for the class.
