Good english text books for children
« on: March 03, 2010, 02:12:33 PM »
Hi there

My co-teacher has agreed to buy some new text books to use in half my after school lessons (I have 21 lessons to plan each week!!!) - hooray!

Any suggestions? I need them from Grade 1 through to Grade 6. I've already used the 'backpack' series.

Thanks so much in advance!

I used Fun Fun English last term and it went pretty well. I used level 2 for Grades 3 and 4 students.

A new book recently came out called "Reading Monster." It's roughly 8,000 for the workbook and textbook each totalling 16,000. IT's REALLY good. It is pretty funny and works on grammar. It's meant for kindergarten in the US to 2nd grade but for South Korea, it would work for 3rd to 4th well. I just had to recommend it!
