Riddles!

I had my students work in pairs. I set a timer for 2 mins. They had to complete the riddle in A >B>C... format and write it in their notebook. When the timer went off they got up and moved to another table to start a new riddle. Took longer than I thought about 20 mins. including going over the answers after. I originally had the names in English but it was confusing for my students so I changed them to Korean.

A minor note, but I think it's good to change the mountain riddle to be about which is higher rather than taller, since Everest is significantly shorter than Denali.

Odd letter out game to practice spelling. Have the students pick out the incorrect letter before time is up.

Round 1-2: Find 1 Letter, Round 3-4: Find 2 letters,  Round 5-6: Find 3 letters, Last Round: Extreme
