Speaking as a middle class Mulan, this whole thread is nonsense.

You're toning down your language, right Mr C?  I'm sure you wrote poppycock balderdash blatherskite  fiddlesticks humbuggery taradiddle flapdoodle tommyrot, finally settling on 'nonsense' just to hide your Little Lord Fauntleroyness...

Yeah I'm middle class but I like to think I'm working class haha.  Like Stoat says I think it can give you some kudos.

For example, for some reason I've got a bit of a complex about other people thinking I'm lazy.  I can't stand it.  Little comments from various coteachers over the years... "I wish I had your job, it's easy/Foreigners have an easy time/You can travel the world" etc.  So whenever I can I always like to slip in that I got my first job at fourteen, bunching flowers on a farm and before I came to Korea I was working the night shift in a food factory.  It's my badge of honour

There are 2 classes; working class and upper class. If you own the means of production and make money by owning stuff you are upper class. If you have a boss and don't own things that make you money (without you working for it) you are working class.

The middle class is a buffer to stop the working class rising up and overthrowing the upper class. Working class people who are kept rich enough to keep the status quo. Don't waste time arguing what part of middle class/upper lower class etc etc you are, you are working class. Use that time to sharpen pitchforks.

More importantly I got Snow White.

Wow it's refreshing to see some with a brain.  This is exactly the right answer.  There is no middle class.  You are either working or making money off other peoples work.  All of us here are working class.  I have over 500k in assets/no debt and I'm still working class..

Naming your horse Barry pushes you down into working class, sorry.

More importantly, does Oglop keep his horse in his house?  Definitely working class.

only 900K and you have a lambo, that makes you an idiot for spending 25% of your net worth on a car.  This is how I know you're a stereotypical  'teacher" with 20kish or so in the bank after 5-10 years in Korea.
