this is a hand out that I gave students at first period. We always take dictation from these words.
I wish it will be helpful for your class.

I made up this chant for this lesson, the teacher chants the first sentence to the rhythm of the game, Indian War Signs, and students reply.

I taught this for my EPIK orientation lesson. We had all the teachers dancing to the song from the textbook. Luckily everyone got into it!

We did a PPT with a dialogue we made ourselves, and used a lot of pictures that our 'students' had to describe to each other and draw.

Here are the lesson plans for this.  Sorry they're soooo late.  Hopefully helpful if you're a little behind.  I've reformatted them a little so they fit better.  I didn't check if the dialogue is the same so you may want to listen to it first.  Available for Windows 97-2003 and 2007.

this was a big help for me, i was stuck and the book didnt really have anything to offer the students thanks so much

Also this is the storytelling that goes with his unit.

thanks so much my students loved it

Here are some games that I used last year.  They were successful.
Hope they help.  **The gameboard was originally in a HWP file.  That's why it's a looks a little weird on WORD.

the book can get o boring for me and the students, so getting help and advice from others is great
