BTW Who gave the money to the Democrats?  Big business and billionaires?  That's right.  They want government corporate welfare, contracts from gov, to be allowed to keep sending away jobs or hire foreigners for less money.  Trump was a threat to their greed.  If they leaned Republican before, they sure don't anymore.    The never Trumpers who were on the corporate payroll and the neocon warmongers teamed up with the far left.  Had Biden have won, it would have been back to stupid wars, outsourcing jobs, making people poorer and more susceptible to being dependent on and controlled by government.

It's funny because the Dems all outspent Republicans and had many millions upon millions of dollars in this past election.  So money has got to be coming from somewhere.  Also a lot of Wall Street and hedge fund managers were either giving to Democrats or to groups working to defeat Trump.  Lindsey Graham was begging for money as he was outspent along with many other Republicans.  A lot of Billionaires and Billionaire funded groups were giving to Democrats.  Direct and indirect "group" giving.  Soros, Steyer, Bloomberg, Big Tech, Hedge fund managers who like outsourcing, etc gave to Dems.  Even the one remaining Koch brother was giving to causes rather than Republicans like he and his brother did pre Trump era.

Yes, rich people make political donations.

Your original quote was "BTW Who gave the money to the Democrats?  Big business and billionaires? "

As you can see, big business and billionaires also gave money to Republicans. The split is almost even. Of the top 25 individual donors, 12 gave to Republicans and 13 to Democrats (but total spending for Republicans was higher in that group). In the House and Senate campaigns, spending was slightly higher for Democrats ($755,975,981 to $682,112,417) and quite a bit higher for the Senate, but most of that excess went to a couple of high profile races.

What is your point, exactly?

By the way, George Soros is number 30 on the list of top donors, one place behind relatively obscure Republican donor Geoff Palmer and a couple places ahead of WWE's Vince McMahon. Why did you mention him?
