Also, I think many would feel that making a pun using a very religious term like "Amen" is almost a surefire way of upsetting people.

He fluffed the line too, like Armstrong. Should have been 'Awomen' not Awoman' surely.

Although I notice "person" has the word "son" in it, which is not gender neutral. I suggest that we replace "son" with the gender neutral "person".

Perhaps, but considering it comes on the back of Pelosi's stated goal to make gender neutral terms the standard, I'd say at best it was a big backfire.
He fluffed it, I think.  Still, hard to get a read on things like that under a mask.   Which has been one of the challenges of teaching this year.

<shrugs>Okay, then.

"per*insertword*" would probably be confusing in a lot of different sentences, though.

I vote for perper. Confusion avoided.

Perperally, I kind of like replacing "son" with "person" because then, inevitably, we would get "perperperperperperp erperperperperperpe rperperperperperper perperperperperperp erperperperperperpe rperperperperperper perperperperperperp erperperperperperpe rperperperperperper perperperperperperp erper..."

Perp is more succinct.
The first thing to say is that this is definitely not pyramid selling, OK?

I was trying to truncate all of this with perper, but maybe per∞ would have been better, haha.

I don't care where you fall on the political spectrum you can't not be embarrassed by the U.S. Congress's latest move to be inclusive.  They actually opened with a prayer that at the end concluded with Amen and Awomen.  Officials  in the U.S. congress actually think Amen is a gender based word.  That is just humiliating and frightening.  Feel free to look it up if you need to.  The moron congressmen is actually trying to defend it now.

I tried to tell you what the new left represents.  This isn't the Liberalism of your parents or grandparents.  Now you know why I support Trump.  Instead of jobs, bringing back jobs, economic recovery, etc - it's going to be more mindless garbage like this that have nothing to do with anything.  But if you criticize it, you will be charged with a hate crime (eventually).  If you voted Democrat or any left wing party in any other western country recently, it is your fault.  This is only the tip of the iceberg and just the beginning of far these Marxist crazies will go.

Tried to tell me?  I'm on record here in one of the Trump threads saying I wanted Trump to win for economic reasons and that the cancel culture brigade were a detestable bunch.
