He's an *I need the money man.*  He has a lot of great films, but I can't stand when he does the worked up hyper out of control schtick.  The eye popping and frenetic thing.  I'd rather watch Tom Cruise on Oprah's couch on a loop than watch that Nic Cage.

Yeah, money issues aside, he's never been a guy to turn anything down, lol.

But yeah, I actually love his crazy schtick. The thing is it's a very specialized and acquired kind of schtick that only belongs in certain types of movies and in certain types of scenes, and not every producer/director knows when and how to use it, lol. They just know he's known for it, and sometimes they'll try to cram it in somewhere it doesn't belong.

Mandy is a great example of that schtick being properly used. I also loved it in Mom and Dad.

Never let Nic Cage go full Nic Cage unless your movie is prepared for it. Nic Cage can't be blamed for the results.

Raising Arizona was his last good role.

Do you even Adaptation?
The first thing to say is that this is definitely not pyramid selling, OK?

Woody Allen.

He could write, but he couldn't deliver a line differently if his life depended on it.

Similar to Quentin Tarantino. Great director, but sucked at acting.

Kristen Stewart, Cara Delevingne and Angelina Jolie are overrated. Cara is the worst of the bunch. Horrible acting.

Stan Lee as well. Creative mind, lousy actor.

At least we only had to endure his cameos.

He's criticizing someone in the public eye vs. a fellow poster (for the record I was fine with everything you said and think you should be able to say it. We were heated but not vicioius IMO). He's also criticizing their skill vs. their character (which I also think was the main crux of our debate- skill in determining the truth and analyzing things).

Finally, it was an topic. Unlike me, who is always off-topic. I get your point, but I'd have kept my powder dry in this case. If you're going to get a shot in at a mod, wait for your moment.

Although it might take awhile. That Kyndo has been like Ayman al-Zawahiri in not leaving an opening. But I'll get him. Good thing is I have the element of surprise. He has no idea I'm gunning for him.

I have loved John Cusack, but I never thought him a good actor. Ever.

Charlie Sheen (who i met when i was eating with his dad Martin Sheen) was not a good actor. But Mo

Charlie Sheen hasn't been bad in everything. I thought he was good in "Platoon" and "Hot Shots" still remains a classic comedy movie.

My smartphone post was cut off by a 5% battery alert.

I have met Charlie Sheen (I was sitting with Martin Sheen in a shopping mall food court chatting about his directing of Cadence, in my hometown). Martin introduced me to Charlie, he jerk ignored me and spoke to his dad then left with his blonde (less than a year later he was in rehab for cocaine addiction). Martin apologized to me for his son's behavior. The apology is a highlight of my life, though years later I think it just speaks to the awesome character of Martin Sheen.

I really liked him in "Young Guns" as well. ...although I admit that I was like 8 when I saw that, and my English wasn't great at the time. Probably improved the movie!
