Did you forget the part where Trump agreed to a full withdrawal of all US military forces? Oh, I'm sure he would have negotiated with the Taliban to keep some US troops in Afghanistan in return for several more thousand of Taliban prisoners released. Art of the Deal and all that crap.

The reality is that the U.S. invaded South Korea and Japan; they are militarility occupied, with puppet democracies, useful in next invading China. Exactly the same as Afghanistan, although that was also used as a base for terrorism against China and stealing their natural resources and national reserves. Its all about anglo-supremacy: forcing their culture on other people (taking away their freedom, not giving it), and then once they are brainwashed with liberalism, maximizing profits off them as consumers. This is the Anglospheres (failing) imperialist neoliberal model, and some are rightfully defending against these invaders and pioneering new models.

People of the empire post non-stop imperialist propaganda spin. Most dont even know reality anymore after decades of brainwashing, or are of the pretend stupid category. But regardless, the reality is that if your government is in someone elses country you are an invader, period.

It would be interesting to look at where the richest cities and counties are in the United States. It would also be interesting to see how these have changed since the War on Terror^tm have changed. I have family there -- and there is a general sense that military contractors won in a big way. One question I have about this war is how much money and what percentage of money allocated for Afghanistan ended up in the US. I suspect MD and VA became a bit richer. Whatever the intention of the war, I suspect the function of the war ending up helping out a lot of well-connected people. I would like to know how much money was washed in this war.

Also, this war was reasonably successfully conducted without imposing any extra problems on people who did not join the military or have family who chose to join the military to pay for college or other reasons.

Kudos to Biden for an exit with bad optics.

With your argument, you forgot to include that China also invaded Korea. And now China treats North Korea as a suzerain.
