Lemonade Mouth English Camp (Making A Band)
« on: January 05, 2022, 01:25:00 pm »
I did Summer English Camp and thought I'd share my textbook.
The theme was based off "Lemonade Mouth" the movies so I showed them clips with Korean subs. At the time we did it through Zoom we had no time to actually make a band. In-person camp was initially going to go as followed.
Day 1: Form a band. Create Logo for band.
Day 2: Make band name. Make poster. Rehearse. Choose a song to cover (there are song recommendations in the textbook)
Day 3: Listen to two songs and give advice. All I Want by Olivia Rodrigo and Quit Playing Games by the Backstreet Boys.
Day 4: Dance day. Clap choreography challenge. Just Dance game. We danced Cha Cha Slide.
Day 5: Make backdrop. https://www.youtube.com /watch?v=qvVc2i4euQY Students learn about stop motion.   https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=rmy_nhfo-xw

I usually use 'automated Korean subtitles.'

However, you can do whatever you want with the textbook.
I will share the powerpoints I used in the following texts.
