Your inability to listen and just turning it into a personal attack (the main line of attack was "So SR thinks he's a sea captain now!", which doesn't really address the points raised) is a perfect example of how intransigent people are and how many are simply cognitively and emotionally incapable of debating opposing viewpoints.

Although the idea of Brandolini's Law is interesting (it reminds me of the ol' gish-gallop that's occasionally used in debate forums), I feel that this thread is going to continue to be nothing more than a long, thinly-veiled series of personal attacks and airing-of-grievances.
