@ Korea Boo,
I'm just wondering if you noticed the threads about a week or so ago full of complaints about being moderated?
The moderators moderate everyone here it's just that not everybody throws a hissy fit about being moderated as much.
Some of us don't really give a rats arse.

I see the mods have removed him also.

Small wonder this place was never able to generate any meaningful income to compete with Dave's.

I think it's far more likely that he asked for his account to be deleted, and he'll be back later.

It must have been difficult for Van. They seemed to bond so well over the weekend.

He was a humourless child. I'm saying good on the mods for doing their job. Don't need posters like that here.

Yes.   There is nothing like imposing your own personal standard of behaviour and opinions on others.

Perhaps if he shared your worldview he would not be here?

I have literally witnessed a group of members gang-up on, attack, and bully another member of this site off the board because they didn't like what he had to say.

So tell me this, what makes your opinion more important or valuable than his perspective?  Beside bullying others, I would suspect if you were able to do him real-world harm, the gang would do what it wanted and laughed it off after he was injured/killed off.  You do this because he is nothing to you.

It is pretty much what you did with his current (and potential) participation within this board.

Truly disgusting tbh.

(I really hate bullies and bully culture)

Yeah, I suspect your opinions are some-what clouded by the responses you receive to your own posts and your personal experience in childhood.

Disagreement does not equal bullying. Disapproval of a poster constantly bombarding the forum with inane dribble doesn't fall under that category either.

Clearly you are someone that is unhappy with your lot in life despite your material progress. It's a shame your postings here about your accomplishments haven't been able to replace that sense of emptiness that you feel.

*VERY* happy with my current circumstances in life and work.

What I saw here was not disagreement, it was making a mockery of another poster and ridiculing him to the point he was deleted.

You can feel (or believe) whatever you'd like.  I would rather be here than in the shoes of any members here.

What Adel said will do!

I can't be bothered personally addressing any of the points you made. If you couldn't see what was happening then...what more can I say?

Not sure.  But it shows me your true character.

You would not be able to survive back home in a professional environment.

Seriously dude. He blocked me after I responded to his query for instructions for blocking people by providing him with instructions.

He was clearly taking the piss and didn't expect to be taken seriously but I'm am curious as to your motivations for playing the white night here.

Is it because you feel you've been bullied too?

Posters are given warnings but sometimes the warnings make no difference and objectionable content actually increases?! (Doubling down?)

Everyone makes mistakes. But some don't know when to back off. As the saying goes: "... some rock the boat, but they know capsizin' it means they're sunk."

This is my read of the situation.

The dude started a thread called "The Demise of the Intellectual Voter" or something which just turned into a whinge fest about how he had no opportunities because he's a white male and doesn't want to get the Covid vaccine. People suggested he get vaccinated and he gave us five hours of Joe Rogan interviews. When we didn't want to spend five hours watching interviews, he started complaining that the forum is full of negativity and branded me and some other users "The Hateful Eight" and started bothering the mods.

Oh, and he also created inane, repetitive topics. Did we really need a topic for podcasts and a designated one for Joe Rogan? Nothing against Joe Rogan, but this isn't the Joe Rogan/Jordan Peterson SubReddit. He couldn't understand that if your content isn't well-received, you should either change your content or reconsider your audience. Hell, do neither, but don't claim your audience is "full of negativity."

Oh please.  The dude was a troll, and it was pretty obvious to anyone with any experience of internet forums/newsgroups/bbs/etc by his third day.

You have it the wrong way around.  He was mocking waygook users, and a few of us finally decided to respond--not even in kind, just pointing out the BS and trollery.

And incidentally, your personal attack on Rye was disgusting and uncalled for.

I stand by my personal opinion of him as I am allowed to have it.  If you think my opinion of him was 'disgusting'...please feel free and contact the authorities.

You don't get to play the victim card because you heard something you didn't like.

MOD EDITED OUT THE REST.

The conversation devolved into a half dozen defamatory posts, one of the prime directives given to delete posts.

What remains are criticisms of actions not insults of individuals.
