Paper Fortune Cookies
« on: April 09, 2010, 03:16:35 PM »
The students in my middle school class had a lesson in their book about baking real fortune cookies, and since we don't have an oven in the classroom, I made a lesson about making paper fortune cookies instead.

I printed out the Power Point slides without the words and then went through the instructions first with them guessing and then writing.

After that, I showed the Power Point again while they actually made them.

I attached the "fortunes" I used with a few blank spaces for them to write their own if they want.

For the pattern paper, I just printed patterns of flowers and butterflies etc. that I found on the internet.
