Here is two ppts I made for part 3 and part 4 of Hamin's songpyeon. I go the original ppt from someone else here on waygook. But I thought I would share since someone helped me out. Also, I corrected the grammer and I think it makes more sense. We don't read the story from the book anyway, but we do use the activities. However, we don't do the role play. I am so happy that my co-teachers agree that the role play is silly and the children would hate it.

I also have edited a PPT for Hamin's sopyung that my co-teacher found. It's just a simple oral "fill in the blanks" exercise following each section of the story, but you may find it useful.

Completed
Syllable Guessing Game
Template (with audio) for the third storytime:
"Learning How Others Talk"
Explanation at the back, you'll need tokens of some sort (ie: print Pokéballs on paper/card) and mini whiteboards and markers for each group (laminate sheets of blank white paper if you lack these).
It was sadly inevitable that significant liberties were taken with this story when entering it. Grammatical errors were fixed such as missing objects and incomplete phrasal verbs being restored, and I added in speakers to the direct quotes. It is strongly recommended you leave the error corrections in, however, you may wish to change the direct quotes back into lines prefixed with a smileyface [Suggestions: ('-'), (^_^) and *(-_-) or ☺,☻ or Webdings font symbols]. I chose to change these as it's a revision activity at this point anyway, but I do recognise that a conscious decision has been made to hide such constructions from the 5th graders by the publishers. My students should all know "ask" and "answer" from classroom instructions anyway so it's just cementing that knowledge in a non-verbal form. Don't forget to reduce the syllable count (the "damage") if you do choose to change anything.

Here is the second part of the rabbit story. I did something different this time. I added symbols to the story and when the students see the symbol they must do the action as they are reading the story. It goes for 3 levels, on the 4th and 5th levels it goes back to just fill in the missing words. It was great to see the students get all freaked when they saw a 4th level and then they find out that is it just fill in the missing words. They loved the change and it really was fun.

Many people might remember this children's song. There are actions and if you don't know you can look it up, but the stories talk about rabbits and this is something related. Also when doing story time, sometimes I ask the children to change the subject to something else to make the story more interesting. Students then say the speach with their group in the front of the class.
ps I wasn't sure but the youtube for this song has a bunny killing field mice and blood coming out everywhere. It was not so great for the girls, but the boys (ok and some girls) LOVED it and it was just after Halloween that I showed it. It also got some kids who don't like English so much more interested.

Last
Word Search
for the G5 Storytimes. Can't recall what I did with the rest. Maybe they got lost in the chapter threads. As we were running late with the storytimes (if something needs to go...) I've derived the word list from Parts 1 and 2. Enjoy.

hi, I love your ppt for this story, I'm just wondering if you have the final 2 parts to the story?
if not, can you tell me where you got the images from, I've looked everywhere and can't find anything like it!

Here is the one for the 3rd part of the story. I still haven't made the final part of the story, but I got the images from waygook. They are under the next lesson 16, "What did you do yesterday?". I have attached them here, so I hope it helps. I will post the next ppt for that part of the story next week.
