Not sure where this should be posted so please help moderators!

This is a very simple introductory PPT teaching the new vocabulary for the lesson. At the end are two activities that should be fun for the little guys.
The 1st is a PPT slide with 6 monsters on it. The monsters are labelled (a,b,c,d,e,f). The teacher has to describe the monsters to the students and the students write down the corresponding letter.
The 2nd activity is a team drawing game. Teacher divides the class into two teams. 1 volunteer from each team will face away from the TV screen while the teacher shows the other students a picture of a monster. The students have 30 seconds (the timing is built into the PPT) to remember as much as they can about the monster. The students from each team then describe the monster and their teammate has to draw his/her version on the board. The teacher will judge which drawing is closest to the original monster.

also, I think Ed Emberley's "Go away Big green monster' is a great accessory to this lesson

Some things I stole from threads for other books. Modified some.

I used the SpongeBob in lesson two with the dice stickers. (Had them do a monster on the back of the page).

I used the My monster body part pirate game before drawing the Robot for lesson 3. (Put the Hollywood mp3 in the same file for sound) That way they practice presenting their robots.

My kids had a lot of fun dancing to the hokey pokey video. I'm sure everyone knows the hokey pokey, but just in case you aren't familiar, it's a simple song that goes over parts of the body. Here's a link to the video I used.

Also, we had a monster drawing session that went over well. First, I described my monster to the students, and they had to draw my monster as I described it. Then, I gave them time to draw their own monsters. Afterwards I took a few volunteers to come up to the front and talk about their monsters. It was a really fun class!

I think I suppose to post aht message in this section. I am teaching 3rd graders. This lesson is about let's draw two arms. Lesson 8. Is this a good activity?
1. 3 to 5 students in one group.
2. I will hand out a piece of blank paper.
3. Each group has to write lets draw ________
and draw that sentence. They ahve to make their own monster.

Tell me if this is a good activity. If anyone have some good ideas tell me
thank you

Let’s Play: Draw A Monster
The rules
   Divide Ss into 3 groups
   Draw three circles on the WB
   Give each group a marker and dice
   1 = eye, 2 = nose, 3 = mouth, 4 = ear, 5 = hand and 6 = foot
   Each group stands in a straight line
   S1 from each group rolls the dice
   If they land on 1,they draw an eye in the circle, if they land on two they draw a nose and so on…
   When they finish their drawing they pass the dice and marker to S2 and go to the back of their queue
   This is repeated until everyone has had a go
When all 3 groups have finished ask each group ‘How many eyes does your monster have?’ ‘How many hands?’ and so on…

I do this with a big class of maybe 30 students as long as you have 3 groups and they keep the rules it should be smooth sailing

A simple PTT with  body parts to assist with drilling. Interestingly one of my students freaked out over the green eye.

You can use this as a listening activity.
You describe a monster and students will find the monster.
They can draw a monster in the last box.
At the end of this activity, students write down the letters which they marked in the blanks and unscramble them.
I made seven blanks for the word, 'ENGLISH'.

I made a review bomb game and board game for lessons 1-8. I don't know where else to post it, so I'll just post it here.
