Hello there!

Here is an Angry Birds Bomb Game. It's pretty straightforward, and is in no way genre busting!

There are 24 questions...and the scoreboard is Daejeon's Sonic Scoreboard (thanks Daejeon).

I have used it with Elementary aged students...grades 3 - 6...and they absolutely loved it! I had some problems with the sound files not playing properly on my school computer...so there are some extra bird noises in there...so you might want to edit the animations to get the right sound levels for your classroom computer.

I'm quite happy with it...and am starting on a new and improved Angry Birds Rio Bomb Game to right a lot of the wrongs that I made in this powerpoint (mostly errors in design that saw things take 3 times longer than they needed to take...and the file is too large!!!).

I hope that you guys enjoy it...feel free to modify it...add to it...delete from it...and share it on here. It would be good if we could try to stop it from hitting some of the other websites too soon!!

One more thing...I haven't had any luck saving it in ppt format...every time I do I lose the sounds!!! So...if anyone is clever enough to get that job done well...will earn themselves a beer (Cass or Hite only)!

Sounds : Your sound file is pushing 11mb, they are floating not embedded via action which is why you lose them when saving in 2003
Scoreboard : You have saved your file incorrectly, as a result, the scoreboard has been converted to a static image (white box) when opening in 2003

I will fix said issues for a XXXX stubbie.

A XXXX? Bugger me dead! Are you from Queensland or something? How about a nice VB or Carlton Draught?

You know...I reckon that saving it on my Mac would have killed the scoreboard...it would probably have taken the Active X controls out because you made it with Flash? That's a guess. I had no trouble with it on the school computer...but the scoreboard doesn't work here...I just thought that it wouldn't have effected the save!

If you could fix those two things...you are welcome to any Australian or Korean beer you like (you might have to wait until january for the Australian beer unless it's Fosters, VB or XXXX!).

Thanks a lot Daejon...oh...and I hadn't seen your Angry Birds ppt or I wouldn't have bothered making one!

Ectofuego - I checked out Daejeon's ppt...and dude...they're chalk and cheese! A teacher could easily use both versions of the game! They're night and day...black and white...unicorns and leather! Well...aside from the last one!

Daejeon - thanks for the tip re the sounds...it worked...however...on the ppt version my three eggs (the ones that come down with 1 2 3 written on them) can only be selected as a block...so there's no choosing 1 2 or 3. It's a bit weird.

Break the object group apart to solve that. Or, apply the sound to an invisible or of screen object.

Thank you thank you!! Now the kids that sneak and play angry birds in class might actually put their phones down. As if I don't know the motions of angry birds. You aren't searching your "dictionaries" at all.

Have a question for Daejeon. Nothing happens when I click the green check mark on the question/answer slides. Anyone else have this issue? They don't link me to the points slides

Read slide one; you need to set access to Visual Basic, and lower your security to allow for the game to run all the coding.

Your games are amazing. Do you have a technical background at all or are you just excellent at powerpoint? I thought I was
pretty decent at powerpoint, but your games blow me away. I'd like to learn how to make some games like that.

JAW - I posted the bomb game up on my blog prior to posting it here...so there's every chance that if Jeff's into the blog...he's been using the bomb game for a little while now.
