Placement/Diagnostic Test

Here's a low level placement test for letter recognition, decoding, blending sounds, and comprehension.  Actually, I've only been here two weeks, but there are A LOT of low level students who need reading readiness skills, and if you do the test you can plug your students into Corrective Reading Decoding A.  It's a Direct INstruction program and I had success with my students in the States.  Thanks.

Hi,

Could you please give me more info. about this program and where I can read about it online?  I don't have a background in elementary ed. and I would like to introduce this to my students.  Thanks :)

Diagnostic Quiz for English Level

I was asked to create a quiz to determine a proficient english level in order to attend after-school classes

This would be for a Grade 3-4 class - can vary however

I am looking for placement/diagnostic tests for different English levels. The above are helpful, but I am looking for tests that are currently being used successfully in Education Centres. I have Grades 1-6

Modified some tests I found here to suit my needs for a Summer Camp. Might be helpful to some.

Sorry it's an Open Office file. We lost Microsoft Office and I just don't want to wait around for the programs to change again.
