Warm up with "whose puppy is it" song then study the attached ppt, have the kids spell the vocabulary words if they can. I printed out two copies of each picture (my class is tiny, I only have 8 students, one pic for each student). I will hand them each one folded pic, they can look at it but they can't show it to anyone. I will start by drawing a picture from the second set then ask students if it's theirs. If I get it right on the first try, I get 8 points. Second try 7 points, and so on until I find the match. The student with the match gets to go next. The students are their own team.

For role-play practice.

You can use the images and chuck them into a Word or whatever doc and print them if using character head bands.

So I was wanting a new review game and wanted a different template. Here is Daejeon's Rock Scissors Paper bomb game with review questions for this section. Hope it helps. ;D

This is impressive!!
Job well done!

Just finished after spending all day working on this. Attached is are the interactive Simpsons, Angry Birds, and Pororo games created by Shane / Daejeon.

When I first sat down to attempt working in XML, I thought I was going to be over my head. But jeez, the thing was really simple once I got the hang of it. All three games have the exact same content, just with different characters

All interactive game have:
- vocab viewer,
- slideshow
- hidden picture
- bomb game
- hangman
- board game
and
- pass the ball

In other words, the only thing missing is a video option. Enjoy it everyone! These XML games are not difficult! Try your hand at one!

-TH- sound Activity...

After we practice making the TH sound by sticking out our tongues for 30 seconds and saying some TH words I'm going to have them watch the TH starfall clips and listen and repeat after the sound clips on soundsofenglish.org.
After, I will have them find THirty THings to paste onto the 30 things page I have attached.

Heads Up 7 Up PPT to explain how to play.

Don't remember where I found the original PPT, which I modified to fit this lesson, but thanks to somebody!

I used picture cards that I got out of the 3rd grade text book (book, hat, robot, etc.), but you could use any object cards (or real objects).

It worked better to start with only 4 students the first round, and then add 1-2 until you get up to 7 (if you have time).  It also helps to make a rule that you can't choose the same student who was just "It" (my co-teacher explained in Korean).

Also, How to Play 7 Up video, but it's kinda talky for this age.

Hey all,

I adjusted displayname's ppt and added in teacherteacherteacher's 'Whose puppy is it video' (the picture of the dog is a hyperlink to the video). The video goes over well, and students get the hang of singing very quickly. However, remember that this video adds new expressions including his / hers / ours / theirs, so you should check for comprehension after you play the song.

This can be handed out on the first day of Lesson 7 or for review any time.

It is a simple table with key vocabulary and expressions for Lesson 7 - in English and Korean. It has 2 tables per page, so just cut the page in half, snip off the side, and tell students to paste it in a notebook or textbook.
(My CT uses the teacher's guide, so it just covers the suggested material from that book.)
