A year's worth of 3rd grade lessons
« on: August 09, 2010, 01:08:35 PM »
The Christmas and Culture lessons were adapted from others.  I think these are all self-explanatory.  Let me know if you have any questions.  (Another post will have the other half of the year.)

I've just started teaching and so far it seems what I learnt on the CELTA course in terms of lesson planning  isn't necessarily all applicable to a excitable/rowdy bunch of middle school boys! This will be helpful and give me lots of ideas to get started. Thanks very much for sharing!

Thank! I've just completed the Space lesson with my kids. Now I think I'll go back and close it out with this ppt!

What is the "Script" for the running dictation activity in the famous people lesson? That lesson looks extremely interesting and its giving me some ideas for my own one that I'm working on "People who changed history"
The more you know.

Yeah that was my reaction too, but I guess some teachers at huge schools only have like one class every 2 weeks with their grade.
