Catch Phrase game
« on: September 30, 2010, 01:02:15 PM »
Hi all,

I just played this game with my 3rd grade after school class and they loved it and were really disappointed it was so short. Next time i will lengthen it.

Those familiar with catch phrase will know how it works but here is a quick guide for those who dont...

A class is split into teams
The first slide appears and the first team to say the picture in English gets a go at the 'bonus board' (click the circle in the bottom right corner to go to the bonus board)
They choose a square to remove from the bonus board and if they cant guess the picture behind it you move onto the next round.
click on the numbers at the top of the bonus board depending what round you want to skip to.
once the kids have guessed the bonus board click 'next' to move onto the next game.
simple.

obviously you can change the questions/pictures to whatever you like.

hope it helps

I realize this is an old thread, but I can't seem to get the ppt to work, or I'm just not understanding how to play it.   :-[

I think something similar to this would be good for these filler classes I have.  The ppt looks nice anyways.

Hey, I'm wondering the same -- It looks very fun but is there a way to get the bananas or moons or whatever those little yellow guys are to disappear? I'd love to play it for 5th & 6th grade. Maybe I'm not understanding either.
