Rules for games?
« on: September 30, 2010, 03:48:20 pm »
I realize I am new to teaching english, and to waygook.org, so perhaps this is a stupid question, and if I looked around here long enough I may find the answers (but time seems to be something I don't have much of)  There are all these power point games (jeopardy, ect...  I haven't looked around a great deal yet)  but no instructions on how to use it.  I mean, if I were teaching a jeopardy game to my students I would have a posterboard with questions underneath the point value. I don't know how its supposed to work as a power point.  help!

Or the bomb game?  How do you go back to the main screen without going through all the slides?

On most of the games there is an arrow or a little house icon which indicates that it goes back to the main board and it changes the color of that value so you know it's been used.  Some of the bomb games eliminate the choice all together when you go back.  However, these functions only work when you're actually playing the game as a slide show... not when you're viewing it and can make changes. Good luck in your adventures in teaching here!
