Here's a quick 1 slide PowerPoint with images of the target verbs, plus one for You're very good! It works for pointing and asking students Can you _____?

Two quick activites that I put together for the unit.  One is "I can..." where students go around the room and see who can do the activites.  Students who can, write their names next to "Yes, I can."   You might want to change the boxes based on your student's level. 

The other is a Porro board game where the kids work in pairs.  Hope you find it useful!

Hi!

Here's a song and video I made for teaching can/can't. My students have had tons of fun with it. I split them into three groups: each group takes one verse and is responsible for creating a dance to go along with it.

The attachments: slide show so you can teach it at a slower pace and a printable version of the lyrics.

My kids are good but their level on a whole is average to low so I need simple things to practice, especially the first few lessons. Here is a board game I made for them to work in pairs and practice the target language. Before they begin the game I review the sentences and rules with the ppt.

Also here is a simple song I use with them that they really like, especially because I have them stand up and act out the things. It's a blast!
