6th grade book: The dialogues are awkward, too easy, and the chapters are disorganized.
The CD is voiced-over. The videos are boring and sound flat. Bad acting.

There is no 5th grade equivalent to this book.

Is anybody else using this book? I am slowly making my way through it and it seems extremely disorganized. I take back all the mean things I  ever said about the blue national YBM book from last year :'(

In any event, I have been asked to start putting together PPTs to introduce the key vocabulary and terms for each chapter...I believe the first few chapters have a lot of review vocabulary so I am going to make two seperate ones for each chapter. One for reviewing material and one for new material.  I am just wondering how other teachers are approaching this textbook.

Of course I will also upload them once I am finished haha...good luck  ;D

I have also been trying to create PPT's for this book. It is so disorganized. I am having trouble trying to make some for it. The vocab shouldn't be to hard, but creating them for the key terms and what not is harder than I thought it would be.
