This is a very simple PPT I made to help my very low level middle school students learn emotions.
You start with a quick warm up game (instructions in the lesson plan). Then you introduce different emotions. I had my students first guess the meotion and then repeat the sentence written on the slide using that emotion. So, for angry they had to say "He is angry!" in an angry voice. Students then did a fishbowl activity. Have them make 2 circles and have them face each other. One circle of students is A abd one circle is B. Have them go through the dialogue. When they are done have one circle rotate on eperson to the left. Repeat the dialogue with a new partner. Next students are split into groups. Each group is given a short dialouge. (Just Google "short ESL dialogue for those) They then choose an emotion for a hat of folded papers. Each group practices reading their dialogue the entire way through with their assigned emotion. The best groups perform in front of th ewhole class. Finally, students play Rock, Paper, Stone. Write all the emotion words across the board. Students line up in 2 lines. The first student in each line starts at one end of the board and has to say "He/She-depending on the person on the other team- is angry/nervous/frustrated/etc" They then advance forward to the next emotion word and read it out loud. When the two students meet in the middle they do rock, paper, scissors. Winner gets to face another person and continue on trying to make it to the other end of the board. First person to make it to one end of the board gets a point for their team. Team with the most points wins.
