This lesson can be used for middle school grade 3 or at the high school level. Play the U2 music video " I Still haven't found what I'm looking for" and discuss it with the students. Give a brief background on the band U2. Divide the students into groups and give the the pieces of the song. Play the song over and over as the students put together the song. Once the students think that they have gotten the song figured out, go through each line group by group. Following this give the students there own copy of the song and discuss what it means. Following this play the song a few more times and have the students sing to it as a whole group and by each group taking a different verse in the song. This lesson takes about 45 minutes.
