It's coming along well.  I can't settle on what should represent points in the game though.  I initially wanted the teams to capture thugs/criminals for points but I can't find good thug/criminal images that match the game's art style for the life of me.  I could use Gotham villains like Joker, Two Face, etc. but I think it would make it less epic if they were catching the big villains every turn for normal points.  Other possibilities would be something plain like Batarangs or "clues" for points.  I don't work on the game at all unless I'm struck with an idea, so sometimes it's a slow process

But I've got most of it fleshed out.  I just need to decide what will represent points.  I'm trying to be patient for good ideas but it's starting to get lengthy.  I'll just pick something and go with it soon.

Hi!
Someone has previously mentioned this but since my school's office was upgraded to 2010  all the bomb games (Pokemon, Yugi-oh and Doraemon - Spongebob works fine) seem to have this one issue in common...

The letters on the home screen disappear after being played but every time a mystery box slide is played all the letters return and the students get confused about which letters were played and which weren't.

The games were fine with the previous office version so I'm not sure what's wrong. I've tried deleting and downloading the files again and also saving them to the .pptm format but it keeps having the same issue.

Is there anything that can be done? My students LOVE these games and it'd be a shame not to be able to use them anymore   :'(

If there is no fix, you could just write the letters on the white board and cross them out as they are used. At least that way you have a back up system where the kids can see what letters are still in play.

Sooo, I downloaded a bomb game made with the SpongeBob template while I was at school and the kids really liked it ^^ (not as much as my coteacher though, lol, she kept saying "This is so fun!" XD)

Only problem is, I was trying to make my own with the templates on my computer, and none of the powerpoints work. I have Hancom Office Hanshow 2010, and it seems like they just don't work in that program. I'll try it at school to see if it works on that computer. X|

You have to edit in Powerpoint for the bomb games to work properly. Unfortunately, I found this out while attempting to use the game in classroom. lol

Awesome Games

Thank you so much for providing these games!! I can't wait to try editing them for my lessons. I have to teach an open class on the 9th of November and plan to use your game.

This is so amazing that you have provided these for us!! You're the best! and you seriously have all the mad skills. Holy cow, I'm in awe.

I know your working on a batman game right now, but I thought I'd throw two other suggestions at you. I would love to see a Sailor Moon and/or Harry Potter Bomb game. ^^

Again, thanks so very much for providing these templates for us to use! It's fantastic.

Do you mind if I ask you where you got the images of the Pokeballs from the Pokemon game? I've tried googling but I haven't been able to find the same ones you use (I even used image search, where I input the image into google search and it couldn't find a similar image) and I want to keep the format pretty consistent. If you could let me know, I would appreciate it!  ;D

You can save images from within powerpoint to the hard drive by right clicking on it and selecting the option "그림으로 저장(S)...". If I had to guess I'd say the Sprite edited the image in photoshop to get all the different colours.

I kind of wanted to see if there were any of the more interesting pokeballs (not just different colours) because a student asked about it. I have already photoshopped some different colours but I can't do the other designs.

Each ball in the game has a distinct name, try looking at this page: http://pokemon.wikia.com/wiki/Pok%C3%A9_Ball

Look at the different names and try an image search for each one. You may come up with some usable images.

Tried out the new Batman with PPT 2007, the batman logo link on the captured villain pages doesn't link up with the question selection slide, it keeps going back to Batman saying "I'll take care of it." You can advance to the question selection slide, but the letter is not removed.

Not sure if it's a 2007 issue, or just my computer. I tried deleting the first slide just had the links stay the same. When I changed all the hyperlinks from the 4th slide to the 5th it worked.

You're right.

This morning I tried to add an "Instructions" slide to the top and it messed up all of the hyperlinks.

I'm gonna re-link them all after lunch.  Thanks for pointing it out.

Edit - PPT has been fixed.

I appreciate your bomb series game. but there is somthing wrong. while checking how Yugioh bomb game works, I usually see the PPT game is reset. I don't know why this is happening. Even though i didn't click all cards but the game was reset.

Are you using PowerPoint 2010?  PPT2010 has major problems with the questions resetting.  It should work fine on 2007 and earlier.
