I used this on April 5th - the anniversary of Pocahontas' marriage to John Smith.  My higher level middle school students loved this lesson, as did my co-teacher, as she learnt something from the lesson too.  I

 gave the rather basic PPT abut her life to 1st and 2nd graders, 3rd graders read the text based presentation. 

After this they completed a crossword (3rd grade) and wordsearch (1st and 2nd grade) - sorry, made these online and don't have them saved!
