I usually make my plans months in advance.  Here is a vocabulary/sentence ppt I'll use in the first part of lesson 13 with the new topic of family.  I'm not a ppt genius, but it could be tweaked or improved for your use.

This is a review ppt for part 2.  The sentences are similar to what they'll use for a game, and it also has one slide that tells the difference between fun and funny.

This is a Golden Bell for Listening and Writing. Students use white boards to respond to the listening portion. It is broken down into X or O, Multiple Choice and Listening Carefully (an item is described, they write the answer). Students begin on top of their desks. When they get an incorrect response, they sit in their chair. At the bottom of the slide is the listening portion that you read to the students for each question.

I made this simple PPT to use at the beginning of the 5th period. Ss must spot the mistakes and say the correct sentence. Also there is a slide at the end to drill the key sentences from the chapter.

Here's a ppt outlining the key phrases along with a hidden picture game and a multiple choice quiz.  Some of the questions are personalized about me / my school so feel free to edit away!

Also, another ppt with a famous people quiz.

Could probably use this all for one lesson.

For this topic I have decided to use the Simpson's as my family.  I made all my teaching aids and games to go with the theme including the Simpson's.
There is a basic introductory ppt slide show to practice the basic target sentences.  Lisa tells the class about her family.
I used photo's of my co-teacher and myself on some of the slides so maybe just change them to your own.

I also made a board game where students can play in pairs.  It has the snakes and ladders concept but ladders are up and slides are down.  Students must be told before the game that they are Lisa so that every time they land on Lisa, they have to say the "I like to ___" sentence instead of "My ___ likes to ___."

I also changed an older bomb game template that I found on Waygook from a previous topic and adapted it to this lesson.  I cannot remember whose template it was originally but thanks for providing it in order for us to change for other lessons ^^

I also made a tic tac toe sheet that you can change to your heart's content.

Because of the Story Time in the textbook I have included a very basic slide show about "fast, faster, fastest" which I will do with the kids the day we do the story in order to make sure they understand the vocabulary used.

Have fun with this theme!
Enjoy your

I've put together a Simpsons PPT which can be used as either an introduction for 13.1 or revision thereafter. From the title page, students are asked to say who each of the characters are. Homer - This is my father etc. By clickon on the name, this will take you to a page about each character. There are then links back to the title page. Play around with it and it will make more sense.
Also there is a "Mystery box" game with similar pictures.
ENJOY!

The Brady Bunch intro song works pretty well for this lesson... I will just have to find the lyrics somewhere so the kids can sing along!
