Lesson: Basic adjectives.

Activity: Musical chairs.

Play musical chairs with signs attached to the chairs--depending on whatever information is presented on the screen, students must find and sit at the appropriate chair to earn "points" (or tokens).

The instructor presents a series of adjectives on the projector (see PowerPoint)--as the music plays, the students circle around and find the corresponding animal which fits that description on the signs attached to the chairs, and takes a seat when the music stops to earn points. Whoever does NOT find a seat (there is always one less number of chairs than students) loses all of his or her points!
